Are you licensed?

We are licensed to provide a non-medical home care by the governing authority in each state where licensing is required.

What services do you offer? Are your prices affordable?

Our care aides not only provide companionship, but they also help our clients with activities of daily living (ADL) and self -care tasks such as personal hygiene and bathing. We also provide homemaker services, companionship, transportation, Alzheimer’s and dementia care, two hospital care packages and in depth assessments with our Medical Social Worker.  We have many flexible and affordable care plans to fit your schedule. Hourly care services is convenient because it is designed for clients who benefit from assistance on a regularly scheduled basis each week. Care aides are available from 2-12 hours each day for 1-7 days per week. When constant care is necessary around the home, at bed side, daytime hours, or 24 hour care our trained care aides will give you peace of mind. Are your care aides supervised after they are placed with the client?

After we make the initial placement, we supervise our care aides to ensure they are following our policy and procedure guidelines and health/safety regulations mandated by the state. Our mission is enriching the lives of our clients. Therefore, you can relax while we conduct all the management of the care aides. The medical social worker and care coordinator will supervise the care aide in your home. They will also make phone calls to you and your care aide to check on the progress of your care plan goals. If any problems arise, they are handled utilizing policy and procedure immediately because safety, customer satisfaction, and best practices, is our first priority when it comes to our clients.

How can CAREPOINT In-Home help residents of a retirement community/ assisted living community?

We work with independent and assisted living facilities to keep seniors safe and healthy. Are professional team will create a care plan which can help your clients with a wide spectrum of health issues. Does your resident have a chronic health condition, limited mobility, or simply need help with activities of daily living? Our care aides can augment essential assisted living services often preventing unnecessary moves or crisis; saving costs both financial and emotional. Are you an insured In-Home provider?

Yes, we carry professional liability insurance that covers our business operations as well as worker’s compensation insurance that covers our employees in the event of a work related injury. Each employee is bonded against theft and maintains automobile insurance in case client transportation is needed. 

How do you choose your senior Care Givers?

We conduct a thorough screening of employees before they are hired. This includes a criminal background screening, DMV records, drug screening, assessment to explore their moral and ethical development, and employment reference checks. To be considered, an applicant must have verifiable and professional senior care experience. New hires are required to complete a series of training classes: The Aging Process, Diet, Nutrition and Hydration, Good hygiene/ Bed baths/ Oral Care, Incontinence and bladder issues, Alzheimer’s and dementia, dealing with challenging behaviors, End-of-Life Issues, Fluid and Hydration, Skin Care, and Relaxation Techniques.

Does the Veterans Administration Provide Veterans and Surviving spouses with assistance for Home Care?

If you are a veteran or surviving spouse and you need assistance at home due to your disabilities you may be eligible for a non-service disability pension. Please contact our office and speak to the Medical Social Worker for more details.

How does your services work?

No two clients are alike. That is why we have created a four-step process to ensure a perfect fit.

  1. Step 1- Medical Social Worker Home Visit: We schedule a convenient home visit to assess your loved one’s needs
  2. Step 2- Plan of Care: We present a written Plan of Care. All Hours, Services and Fees are outlined.
  3. Step3- Caregiver Match: We utilize personality assessment tools, your care plan and other measures to appropriately match you with a care aide.
  4. Step 4- Medical Social worker Visit’s: We visit regularly in person and she will call to personally supervise Care Aides and follow up on Care plan.

Why wouldn’t’ I just put an ad in the paper and find someone one on my own?

Working with CAREPOINT In-Home affords you several major advantages. First, we are licensed and insured by the state of California home health agency, offering you a great deal of protection. If something should happen to one of our Care Aides while on the job, we provide workers compensation insurance and liability insurance. Anyone we send out to you is an employee of the agency. We complete payroll, deducting the proper taxes so you do not get in trouble with the IRS. You may even be able to deduct these expenses as medical care which you could not do if you were not following tax rules. We also supervise our Home Health Care Aides; do the scheduling and backup if a care aide is sick or unable to make it due to an emergency. We relieve family members with a great deal of stress and headaches attempting to manage Care Aides on your own. Also all of our care aides are trained, drug screened/personality tested and have an extensive background check to ensure your safety
